The Regional Area Mobility Program (RAMP) is a door to door paratransit service available to disabled citizens who are unable to use TANK's fixed route bus service. RAMP serves the areas of Boone, Campbell, and Kenton counties in Northern Kentucky, which are also served by TANK's fixed route system.

Under the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals with disabilities who meet one or more of the following criteria are eligible for RAMP. Eligible persons include:

• Individuals who are unable to ride, board or disembark from a regular service, accessible TANK vehicle without the assistance of another individual (except the operator of a wheelchair lift or boarding assistance device)
• Individuals with disabilities who have a specific impairment-related condition which prevent them from traveling to or from a regular bus stop.

SERVICE AREA CHANGES:

The RAMP service area has been reduced to mirror the DayTripper area. The revised RAMP service area will still be larger than what is required by ADA regulations and will allow TANK to provide more efficient services to all special service passengers.

Passengers living outside the revised service area who have used RAMP more that 5 times during the past year will be "grandfathered" indefinitely and will be able to continue to use the door door special services from their current address.

Passengers living outside the revised service area who have used RAMP 5 times or less during the past year will not be eligible to continue to use door to door special service from their current address after that date. However, if you are picked up at one of our fixed route bus stops or Park and Ride lots, TANK special services will continue to be available to you through our reservation system.

FARE CHANGES:

Effective January 6, 2007, the new RAMP fare will be $1.50

Effective January 6, 2007, the new DayTripper fare will be $3.00.

Regular users of the RAMP service may choose to purchase:

• RAMP Book of Tickets (10 tickets - no expiration) for $13.50
• RAMP Monthly Pass (valid for unlimited RAMP and TANK fixed route rides for one calendar month0 for $55.00
• Passes and ticket books may be purchased at the Bus Stop sales outlet in downtown Cincinnati or at the TANK main office at 3375 Madison Pike.
